12th ANNUAL KIYOBUKAN SUMMER CAMP

WHAT IS THE SUMMER TRAINING CAMP?

The Annual Kiyobukan Summer Training Camp is the regular gathering session of the members of our global karate association. For those who are not familiar with the Kiyobukan, it is the name of our association as established by our organization's founder and Grandmaster (Hanshi in Japanese), Seiei Nakaza. Every student of NRK Karate is a member of the Kiyobukan, as demonstrated by the gold patch that we wear on the left chest of our uniforms. Additionally, Shihan McCammon, our Chief Instructor, is the vice-director of the international association.

Hanshi Nakaza, and his heir Hanshi Brian Hobson, started the tradition of the Training Camp in 2008. Since then, each summer the association hosts the camp in honor of Hanshi Nakaza, his family, and his legacy.

Many karate students may train a lifetime and never have the opportunity to train with a real Grandmaster of Karate. At our Summer Camp students will meet and train with three to four!
